Halloween!

It has been a while, hasn't it?? I've just been really busy, what with school and stuff... Anyway, it's almost Halloween!!! I can't wait. The weather is perfect. Chilly enough for a sweater, and a jacket in the mornings and evenings, but still enjoyable. I must say, I'm getting really impatient with the clapotis. I'm still working on it, but for goodness sake, am I reallyexpected to do an entire scarf out of stocking stitch without poking out my eyeballs??? But I refuse to give up. It's going to look beautiful, and my mom will loveit, so I'm sticking with it. I kind of abandoned the pattern because I was having problems with the spacing of the dropped stitches, so I'm really glad I used an all wool yarn. A couple of the dropped stitches were in the wrong place, so it would have unraveled all my work if it weren't for the lovely feltable-ness of Noro. I just got it wet and rubbed it back and forth so it wouldn't unravel. But now it's back on the right pattern with the yarnovers, so it should be fine. *crosses fingers* Also, I'm working on the Irish Hiking Scarf, which I loooove!! 'm making it out of an angora blend and it is heavenly...... It's a blue-ish turquoise colour and it's really pretty...... I'm really impatient to get something off the needles so I can start other stuff though. Scarves are just time consuming.....to help, I've been watching soe movies of Agatha Christie books. I found them on Youtube, and they have been a stockinette saver. They take my focus away from the boringness of the clapotis. Instead, I'm thinking about murder! Hmm.... wonder how that's going to affect the knitting..... but I have a buttload of homework, so I'm cutting this entry short. Have a great time enjoying the weather! I'll put up pictures of our jack-o-lanterns once they're done!
